Kady Marie Vega born and raised in Harlingen, Texas graduated from Harlingen High School in 2004. Envisioned her life taking care of others and helping her community with healthcare obstacles; started her nursing career in 2008 as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Climbing up the ladder of the many opportunities of nursing obtained an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and began working as a Registered Nurse in 2009 at Harlingen Medical Center. The hospital setting was a great opportunity to learn the many skills in the acute care setting. Kady spent most of her years at Harlingen Medical Center working on the Medical Surgical Unit, Orthopedics, 及小儿科组. Kady, later pursed a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Nursing in December 2012 she received her nursing degrees from the University of Texas at Brownsville/Texas Southmost College. Knowing that she has always envisioned herself helping her community in ways to improve healthcare outcomes, she then pursed a Master’s Degree in Nursing specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Downsergrove, 2016年5月伊利诺伊州.

Dr. Berges previously served as a Chief Resident at the UTRGV/Knapp Family Health Center in Mercedes Texas. 2020年6月. Berges became one of six “trail-blazing” doctors who were the very first class to ever graduate from the UTRGV/Knapp Family Practice Residency Program in Mercedes and Weslaco Texas.
